Only place between Pueblo and Denver that tastes like my Southwest roots. Thankful to work for a company that takes us to Monument regularly so I can get my fix! From owners on down to staff, always a great experience. If you're a Northern New Mexican, Southern Coloradan, or just somebody with an appreciation for great Mexican food this is your place!
Every time we go to Arlene’s it’s just great. I always get one of the burritos, my wife loves the tacos and our boy gets some type of quesadilla. The staff is always super friendly, the prices are fair and the food is great. One of those small town restaurants that help form the culture and vibe of the place.
I love this food! I wondered where this restaurant has been all my life. New Mexican food is a treat for a Texan. The owners are amazingly sweet, and they truly have the best beans around (and smothered burrito and enchiladas)! I take all my friends to grab breakfast or dinner here when they're in town.
I had a smothered burrito and a margarita. They were amazing!! Can’t wait to go back for more.
Food is fantastic! Amazing meats in the smothered burrito. Sauce is flavorful, colorful and exciting!
People here are great. Thanks always for the great service and product.
I lived in the springs for 8 years and wanted to try Arlene’s sometime. I always said one day I will when I’m in the area.
Well, finally I had a business acquaintance ask me to meet, and he lives in …
Great little local Mexican food joint. The food is made to order and is always fresh. This time I had a Loco burrito smother in green and red sause (Christmas style). The red sauce is perfect but maybe too spice for many, the green sauce is very good and is mild. We had a full group with us so a large variety of food was ordered. The kids really enjoyed the quesadillas (chickens and beef). Chicken was better. Definitely recommend this place.
I ordered 3 Enchilada plates (Carne Asada, Beef and Chicken) picked them up 4 minutes after they said order would be ready. Got home approximately 10 minutes later and opened them up to eat. Worst Mexican meal I have EVER had in my entire life. They weren't baked or fried like an Enchilada is supposed to be. Just slop packed in between 3 shells. All 3 were literally a pile up disgusting mush and the Asada tasted like it had been cooked last week. I live in Palmer Lake and used to like Arlene's Beans but after this experience I will never eat at this place again. If I was the owners I'd be ashamed to serve this food to even inmates in jail. I've never gave a bad review on food in my life on the internet but this one doesn't even deserve any stars, should be negative 5 stars...
